The combination of ebony and tulipwood in this cue is striking. There are five floating tulipwood points in the ebony forearm and also in the ebony butt sleeve. Inlaid in each point is an oval of ebony containing yet another inlay a mirrored spear of ivory, for a total of ten ivory inlays. Rings of tulipwood encase the rings of ten windows that combine ebony and tulipwood at the base of the forearm, around the Joint and the butt sleeve. The wrap is black Irish linen with white specks.
